Some psychologists and psychiatrists who have been known to diagnose and help women with autism without having to be thoroughly educated by the person looking for help! We don't endorse anyone and only offer this information as a starting point to help people who feel swamped looking for diagnosis or psych support that isn't openly discriminatory and can cope with people who are both non-male and adult! We can't offer advice as a group, but if you get involved you'll likely meet people who have personal experiences of one or another.
If you have had a good experience and want to add someone to the suggestions, get in touch!
Note that you only need a clinical psychologist for a diagnosis. You don't need a psychiatrist for autism itself, but if you have other things going on and need to deal with medication, it's probably good to have a psychiatrist who understands the autism side as well!
